Selection Criteria for SPA Therapists (for CIBAC Training)
About Us
- The applicant spa therapist must be currently employed by a spa operator that is a member of good standing in the partner spa association.
- The applicant must possess a high desire to learn, a high level of emotional maturity, and a high degree of motivation in pursuing a career in the spa industry. Likewise, the applicant should have the intellectual capacity to finish and pass the course and ideally would have shown potential and skill as a trainer.
- Applicant should make himself/herself available to attend the designated course of 100 hours and a 3-day training of trainers workshop.
- Qualified applicants will be screened by a Selection Committee formed by their respective spa association. An oral interview as well as a performance test will form part of the selection procedure.
- The qualified applicant must be able to raise the CIBTAC examination fee of GBP£80 for both A&P and Body Massage Theory and Practical Examinations.
